This is the sign you see at the Santiago, Chile airport when you pass through customs.
“Wherever you are coming from–If you declare, everything is clarified.”
I’m not sure what “everything is clarified” even means and it surely doesn’t convey the severity of not declaring any food items as you enter the country.
Just because you can translate something to another language doesn’t mean it will make sense in that language. You need to make sure your intended message is properly communicated to those reading your translated materials.
Always have a native speaker edit and review your translations so you don’t end up with literal and nonsense translations in your business and marketing materials.
